Manuka honey and Kanuka honey

At the meeting held at the NZ Parliament's Beehive building, initial results were presented showing that medical-grade kanuka honey from the Bay of Plenty could be a useful treatment for acne and molluscum contagiosum. In the acne study, 82% reported an improvement within a week and 77% had a reduction in the number of acne lesions. Professor Holt said that he was not surprised by these results given that honey kills the bacteria which cause acne. He said that compared to popular acne treatments that contained bleach, honey was natural, safer, healed the wounds caused by acne spots, was likely to reduce scarring and moisturized the skin as opposed to drying it out. "The leading acne treatment sells around US$2 billion a year - we think that honey is a far superior treatment and plan to demonstrate this in a large independent clinical trial". The honey is applied as a facemask for 20-30 minutes twice a day, and washes off easily with warm water. - scoop.co.nz
For many years Manuka honey has been used in cream formulas for the treatment of Acne and it now appears that the related Kanuka honey can provide the same benefits for treating Acne and other bacterial and fungal skin infections.
The huge popularity of Manuka honey and the limited supply has led  to substantial increases in price over recent years especially for the higher grades of certified UMF activity. If Kanuka honey is able to demonstrate the same levels of antimicrobial activity as Manuka honey, it will also be in great demand for medical applications.

Medical uses of New Zealand honey

Medical researcher Professor Shaun Holt has announced what is believed to be the world's largest programme of research on the medical uses of honey.
Speaking at a meeting in Wellington yesterday, Professor Holt said that honey had huge potential to treat many medical conditions, but clinical trials were needed to prove that it worked. "We know that honey can heal wounds and kill just about any bug, so in theory it could be used to treat diseases ranging from eczema to skin infections to lung infections in people with cystic fibrosis". - scoop.co.nz
Manuka honey has a long history of medical use due to its antimicrobial properties, treating a wide range of skin and internal infections. Manuka honey is also a popular ingredient in natural cosmetics and moistirizers because of its moistire renention properties.
As reported Professor Holt will be using Kanuka honey for these trials, Kanuka is a close relative to the highly acclaimed Manuka species.

Bee Venom Mask

One of the things that separate us mere mortals from royalty and top celebrities is that they have a lot more money than us, so they are able to buy the most expensive clothes, shoes and handbags.
They are also able to stay in the most exclusive resorts and many travel in their own private jets as they travel around the world.
However in terms of flesh and blood they are just the same as us, and when it comes to skin care they have exactly the same needs and desires a we do, so while they can afford to go to the finest beauty salons, the products that they use are available to everyone.
The top cosmetics brands do not make special products for the rich and famous, the advertising might suggest that they are consulted but in reality they use the same products as us which are available over the counter from beauty counters around the world.
Which brings us to the latest anti-aging product which has been receiving so much attention in the news - Bee Venom Mask and Bee Venom Moisturizer.
We can supply both of these fantastic new products, so you can now have access to the same products as the rich and famous and your skin will benefit just as much as theirs.
The great thing about our Bee Venom mask and moisturizer is that they are both made in New Zealand using the freshest ingredients and we are receiving new stock every week, so what we stock has not been sitting on the shelf for long.
And you don't need to spend a fortune having a beautician in an expensive salon apply it for you either, you can apply these natural creams yourself just as well as any clinician.
So allow yourself the luxury of using the same bee venom mask and moisturizer cream as the celebrities and royalty, you will benefit just as much as anyone and more than some when you use these products. And they do work, so far every single customer has been delighted with the Bee Venom Mask and Bee Venom Moisturizer.

Bee Venom Mask in store now!

Great news we have finally received the Manuka honey Bee Venom Mask cream that we have anticipated for over two months!
This product is walking off the shelves and we had a huge response of people searching for it over the weekend after they had seen the bee venom mask featured on the TV show Dr. Oz in USA.

This natural cream is what has reportedly taken years off Camilla Parker-Bowles appearance and she was apparently the one who recommended it to Princess Catherine before her wedding. Certainly it has achieved huge popularity since then with many notable celebrities queuing up to buy it or have it applied for them in beauty salons around the world.

A report states that 1000 jars were sent to Dubai in just one order!

We now have the bee venom mask and a brand new bee venom moisturizer in stock today.
This product that women (and a surprising number of men) have been looking for for years, it has the effect of botox without either the high cost, the painful needles or the possible side effects, let alone surgery which can run to tens of thousands of dollars.

Bee Venom is a simple anti-aging solution that you can apply yourself at home and no-one need know that you are using it, just soak up the compliments!

Bee venom mask and moisturiser works by fooling the skin into thinking it has been stung when all you fell is a slight tingling sensation which stimulates the blood circulation and brings more collagen and elastin to the surfact of your skin, filling the wrinkles and fine lines.

It won't happen overnight as they say, but it will happen with regular application.

You can order your Bee Venom Mask or Moisturizer here right now.

Scabies treatment

Living in halls of residence forces students into close contact with roommates, even when they are sick. Without taking precautions, illness and infestations like head lice and scabies can spread quickly, especially in small apartments and residence halls.
The most common illnesses students should be wary of are the common cold, the flu, strep throat and mono, said Patricia Denning, chief of staff at Watkins Memorial Health Center.
Other illnesses students might be susceptible to include the stomach flu and parasites such as scabies and head lice. Denning advises students not to share clothing or hair brushes. Since the stomach flu is spread via contaminated surfaces, avoid sharing food, drinks and dishes.
To prevent the spread of illnesses it is a good idea to arrange the beds so that students are not sleeping head to head, it is much better to sleep foot to foot if possible. This way sneezes carrying bacteria are less likely to be transmitted from person to person.

Scabies and head lice are usually contracted through very close contact as they do not live off the body for long.

However if you are unfortunate to get scabies it is important to take action quickly to avoid spreading this infestation to others.
The tell tale signs of Scabies are intense itching most commonly at night, and a rash with very fine lines. These fine lines are the tunnels that the adult scabies mites make just below the skin.
It is not necessary to use chemical treatments for scabies as there are very effective natural scabies treatments that do not carry the side effects of chemicals

Excersize for arthritis

Approximately 46 million Americans have arthritis, which becomes more common as people age, according to the Arthritis Foundation. Osteoarthritis is the most frequent type, followed by rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune disease characterized by inflammation of the membrane lining the joint.

Excersize can help to alleviate the inflammation and pain of arthritis, it is recommended that arthritis sufferers take 2.5 hours of moderate intensity low-impact excersize every week.

Swimming or cycling is ideal as there is no impact involved.

For natural relief from the pain of arthritis a supplement of velvet antler can be taken daily. Velvet Antler has been shown in studies to reduce inflammation and to stimulate the production of cartilage, reducing pain and supporting joint health.

Real people who have benefitted from Velvet Antler

Joy Beck's hands used to be so bad she couldn't knock on a door without severe pain. Now she could knock a door down.
Philip Berne could work on accounting ledgers in his sleep, but he couldn't do it without sleep. He's back on the job, well rested.
John Cleave's disconfort became the center of his universe. He couldn't turn over in bed or sit up without help. His knees were swollen. He couldn't feed himself becasue he could't raise his arms. All that is in the past.
Corrine Smith said the places it hurt were beyond counting. After a five-year reign of torment, it took Corrine only one month to shed her disability.
When Millie McMann sat still fow awhile, her first steps were anguish. Today she has complete pain-free range of motion, even after day-long sessions at her computer.
Mary Bartlett felt that her biological clock was breaking the sound barrier. But how could she plan to lift a baby when she couldn't lift a book? She's doing just fine now, thank you, with a twin in each arm.
We know it is unlikely that any single nutrient could be responsible for such turnabout results. In fact, almost all these people reported a longtime involvement in taking a handful of isolated nutrients.
So what did they do to increase their energy, reduce their aching, restore their mobility, diminish their swelling?
Joy, Philip, John, Corrine, Millie, and Mary are using age-old velvet antler. You already know that velvet antler contains anti-inflammatory factors, plus many other critical agents beneficial for curtailing a body's response to arthritis.
